ZURICH – Two skiers died Sunday after being struck by an avalanche near the Swiss mountain resort of Klosters, the ATS news agency reported, citing police.
Another person was carried away by the avalanche in eastern Switzerland, but survived, said ATS. The victims’ nationalities were not yet released.
Rescue services were also searching Sunday for any victims of an avalanche in the eastern Swiss ski resort of Lenzerheide, ATS said.
