It is about time that the alternative views find a leader, I applaud Vaclav for taking a stand against both the Lisbon treaty and the madness and hysteria around global warming. In my mind, the Lisbon treaty needs to go to the people who will live with the consequences (namely the citizens) via referendum of all participant nations, where I suspect it will be soundly trounced for many of the reasons Klaus states.
In terms of global warming, what a pile of crap! To think that our current warming (BTW it has been cooling in recent years) is anything other than natural long term cycles ignores the facts and is just bad science. Read Thomas Kuhn's "Structure of Scientific Revolutions" and you find the bandwagon approach as adopted by the neo-pagan global warming supporters pretty well fits the model of bad science.
