CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS:
Gangway Magazine Issue #39
“Gangway Magazine is a very cool bi-lingual magazine out of Australia and Austria. For their next issue (Autumn 2009), they are doing a Berlin: 20 Years after the Wall tribute. We are seeking pieces in any language (must be accompanied by an English or German translation) that showcase poetry and short prose coming out of Berlin today. Some pieces may deal explicitly with the post-Wall period, some may be retrospective about life before the Wall fell. Some may not have to do with the Wall at all. The goal is to create a comprehensive and representative look at the writing community in contemporary Berlin.
The formal submission guidelines have not been drafted yet. This is more of a pre-call call for submissions, just to let everyone know that it is going to happen, and to get you thinking about what types of pieces you may want to contribute. If you have questions, please email berlinpoems2009@googlemail.com.
And check out Gangway at www.gangway.net”
