The Sand Journal DVD Screening and live performances and music.
Earlier this year BeatStreet and film maker Michael Schilhansl got together with the Sand Literature Journal to film some of the best poets working in Berlin today. The result is a short live show documentary which includes interviews and music.
The Sand Journal DVD Screening
The BeatStreet event on 23 June is the first screening of this documentary.
The night will be split into two parts, the first half will be the premier showing of the 30 minute documentary, the second half will be a live performance from Berlin Poetry Awards winner Ben Porter Lewis and live music from Berlin song bird Cera Impala.
There will also be a chance to pick up the latest copy of Berlins best English Journal, which includes the DVD.
