MADRID - The Barceló travel group announced Tuesday that it is planning to launch a chain of city hotels in Morocco, two years after it opened its first establishment in the country.
Group secretary Miguel Barceló made the announcement during a Spanish-Moroccan business meeting in Rabat. He said that Morocco offers some "very interesting" investment opportunities in the tourism industry, and noted that the Barceló Group has been satisfied with its experiences there to date, where it has operated a hotel chain in Casablanca since 2005.
