"I was born in music. I first wrote music to learn my school recitations. Writing songs is my way to express myself."
Yasmine Modestine plays the piano, sometimes the guitar, and sings both in French and in English. Her songs explore the toughness and the beauty of the world and love. Tenderness and irony weave through her concert. Her sound is somewhere between jazz and "chanson à texte".
