GENEVA, Aug 4, 2007 (AFP) - A French rap star who supports right-wing French President Nicolas Sarkozy was pelted with projectiles and booed off stage at a concert in Geneva, local press reports said Saturday.

Dozens of spectators at the opening free concert of a two-week summer festival staged a mini-riot at the appearance of singer Doc Gyneco, forcing the organisers to cancel the show after half-an-hour, the reports said.

Two men were arrested, the daily La Tribune de Geneve reported.
