Broad agreement on healthcare spending boost

Prime minister Mark Rutte and other party leaders refused to give further information and the talks are set to continue on Tuesday.

The opposition Liberal democrats D66 and two small Christian parties have already reached several reform deals with the cabinet, including on pensions and housing.

The coalition does not have a majority in the upper house of parliament and needs opposition party support to pass legislation.
