For twenty-four hours all Belgium’s local and federal police services will deploy all the speed cameras that they possess in a concerted attempt to catch motorists speeding on our roads and this at as many locations as possible.
The speed trap marathon is a repeat of a similar police operation conducted last April when over 20,000 drivers were caught out.
The new marathon is being organised in October.
Unlike last time members of the public will not be able to suggest locations that are well suited to entrapment of speeding drivers.
The police say that they have already got sufficient suggestions.
