AMSTERDAM – KLM has increased the fuel surcharge for all its flights in response to increasing fuel prices over the last few weeks.
The airline announced on Thursday that it would increase the surcharge by one euro per one-way flight within Europe. The surcharge has been increased by EUR 5 for each way of a flight outside of Europe.
This brings the surcharges back up to the levels in place before they were lowered in early February. The total surcharge now comes to EUR 22 per flight within Europe, and EUR 55 for flights outside of Europe.
