07/02/2009"Paedo-party" attacks anti-paedophile website

The Party for Neighbourly Love, Freedom & Diversity (PNVD), popularly known in the Netherlands as the "paedo-party", has filed a complaint with the police against the website Stop Child Sex.

THE NETHERLANDS - The highly controversial PNVD has advocated the legalisation of the possession of child pornography, and a reduction in the age at which adults can have sex with young people from 16 to 12.

On Friday it was reported that the Stop Child Sex Foundation has launched a website (stopkindersex.com) featuring names, addresses and photographs of Dutch paedophiles.

The PNVD claims the website breaches Dutch privacy law.

The foundation aims to sidestep the law by having the site hosted in the United States. The police will make a decision on how to proceed with the complaint next week.

In the village of Landgraaf in the southeast of the Netherlands, on Saturday the windows of a person featured on the site were broken. It is not known who was responsible.
