02/07/2008Jordanian ambassador will not be summoned

Dutch foreign minister dismisses Wilders’ request to summon the ambassador following news that Jordan plans to prosecute the freedom party leader.

2 July 2008

THE NETHERLANDS - Dutch Foreign Minister Maxime Verhagen does not intend to summon the Jordanian ambassador.

Freedom Party leader Geert Wilders had requested this following the news that Jordan is preparing a possible court case against him because of his anti-Islam film Fitna.

A complaint has been brought in Jordan by organisations that believe the film constitutes an incitement to hatred of Muslims.

They have already launched a campaign to boycott Dutch products, blaming the government in The Hague for not prosecuting Wilders.

Jordan's justice authorities have, however, announced that they are not planning to arrest the Dutch MP. They say the decision to prosecute him was taken as a way of sending a signal to the Netherlands.

Wilders thinks it "horrendous" that Jordan wants to prosecute him. As far as he's concerned, this only goes to show "how undemocratic the banana republic of Jordan is."

Wilders is brave enough to put forth the truth about Islam. Fitna shows what Muslims/Islamists have said and done to the Western world---their hatred for the West and infidels is expressed through THEIR words and actions. The Koran is proof of the utter hatred for Infidels. What did Wilders do wrong??? Now the truth is wrong?? Eurabia is wrong for capitulating to the tyranny Muslim populations have forced upon them. Wake up, the West now!!!!

And there I was thinking Jordan was a kingdom and not a republic. Seriously though, isn't it amazing how often ignorance and prejudice go hand in hand.
