28/02/2008Dutch nudists get their own fair

European nudists can discover the latest trends at a new nudists' fair to be held twice a year in Spaarnwoude, a small village near Haarlem in the north-west of the Netherlands.

28 February 2008

AMSTERDAM - European nudists can discover the latest trends at a new nudists' fair to be held twice a year in Spaarnwoude, a small village near Haarlem in the north-west of the Netherlands.

The international nudist fair is an initiative of Uitgeverij Vizier, publisher of the so-called Campingpas. The Campingpas is a card that gives Dutch travellers reduced rates at camping and holiday sites in the Netherlands.

The second business partner is Campingvizier.nl, a camper's magazine and website. Neither Campingpas nor Campingvizier are nudist travel organisations, but merely initiated the fair to generate publicity.

"We both exist less than a year now and wanted to do something original," says spokesman Rob Kwint told Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa.

"We discovered there would be a market for a nudists' fair. Some 80 stands will present themselves on the first fair, due to take place from 1 April to 5 April."

Fair visitors, who are supposed to undress and leave their clothes and valuables in lockers at the entrance, can learn everything about nudist camps, travel, recreation and evening outings.

There will also be workshops and presentations on nudist-related topics.

More than 150 tickets have already been sold over the internet.

"A second fair is already planned for 7 to 11 October," says Kwint, who adds the concept has already generated so much publicity that it will probably be held twice per year from now on.

Great nudist! Great Germany! Let's living naturally!
The world is full of surprises and the secret naturist, who tends to explore country side and other areas not usually explored by 'normal' people and who also present an attractive target by being naked, tend to attract all manner of interesting creatures, many of which are intend on biting, stinging, eating and generally making life a misery for any unfortunate who passes by. Naturist looks like you and I and come from all walks of life. You will find it to be a relaxing lifestyle that is free of the daily stress we all experience. Naturist groups like naturistspace.org are looking for people who are open minded and want to enjoy the company of others of a like mind.

Very good,I am always naked when I can be and when I can be is only when I’m alone in my room. My family doesn't allow it in the rest of the house and the law doesn't allow it outside. I think it has nothing to do with sex, when naturists want to appear more sexual they change the way they are acting and you view them in a whole different way. Imagine a place like http://www.nudistsky.com/ where you can Get Away from it all. Relax and Unwind in a Serene Setting and Have Fun!

am I the only person wondering exactly what products are on offer at this fair: the latest non-existant naturist fashions or just sandals and oddly-shaped tent pegs!
