The Aruban court will not make a decision before Wednesday on whether to arrest Joran van der Sloot again.

AMSTERDAM – The Aruban court will not make a decision before Wednesday on whether to arrest Joran van der Sloot again, contrary to earlier reports, the public prosecution department on Aruba announced Monday.

Van der Sloot's lawyer has until Wednesday to give "his view."

The public prosecution department last week appealed the examining judge's decision to reject the request for Van der Sloot's arrest. The public prosecution wants Joran van der Sloot to be arrested once again for involvement in the disappearance of American teenager Natalee Holloway.

Crime journalist Peter R. de Vries showed secret footage last week in which Joran confesses knowing what happened to Holloway. She reportedly became unwell while they were making out. Van der Sloot and a friend then reportedly dumped her body at sea.
