THE HAGUE – A Dutch national who was in Mumbai during the attacks on the Indian city is still missing a day after the siege ended, the Dutch foreign ministry said Sunday.
"We know that he was in Mumbai during the attacks, but we have not been able to establish contact with him since," ministry spokesman Rob Dekker told AFP. The man's name was not released.
Dekker added all other Dutch nationals who were in Mumbai when Islamic militants attacked several sites including luxury hotels and a Jewish centre around the city "have been located and are unharmed".
Indian forces ended the siege on Saturday after two and a half days of violence that claimed the lives of 172 people and left nearly 300 more injured.
