The Hague -- Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende and Foreign Minister Maxime Verhagen will hold talks with US President Barack Obama at the White House on 14 July, the Dutch government announced on Tuesday.
The two leaders will discuss the Middle East, the crises in Afghanistan and Pakistan and the battle against global warming, the government press office said in a statement.
It is the Dutch prime minister's first official meeting with the US president.
The meeting comes as the Netherlands celebrates 400 years of relations with the United States this year.
