The Hague - Development Minister Bert Koenders has suspended financial aid to Tanzania. In a letter to the Lower House, he explains that Tanzania is an unreliable partner for foreign investors.
Koenders took the decision after a Dutch entrepreneur lost his investment.
The letter does not name the entrepreneur or explain the details of the case, but the minister says enough is enough.
It is not clear how much money Tanzania will miss out on as a result of the decision.
