8/5/11 – The World Wildlife Fund celebrated its 50th anniversary. The organisation boasts 81,000 affiliates in Belgium and invited some of them to the Museum of Natural Sciences in Brussels. The WWF played a pioneering role in protecting a number of animal species facing extinction like the rhinoceros in the sixties.
