BRUSSELS â Beginning mid-February, a French television channel aimed at homosexual viewers will extend its reach to Belgium.
Pink TV, which began broadcasting as Franceâs first gay television station in October 2004, will be available on Belgian cable network BeTV as of Valentineâs Day (Feb. 14).
BeTV currently has some 140,000 subscribers.
Largely financed by Franceâs three existing commercial networks, PinkTV broadcasts 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and offers a wide menu of programmes ranging from porn to sports, culture and fashion.
