Home Sweet Home director dies at 62

BRUSSELS – Belgian director Benoit Lamy, who won international acclaim for his 1972 film Home Sweet Home, has died at the age of 62, Belgian media reported on Wednesday.

Home Sweet Home won 14 international awards, including best film at the Montreal Film Festival and the Jury Prize at the Moscow Film Festival.

More recently, he filmed Wild Games, known also as Combat de Fauves in 1997.
