R3bn solar plants unveiled in Northern Cape

A consortium led by British company Globeleq launched two solar power plants, representing a combined investment of R3-billion, in the Northern Cape this week. The De Aar and Droogfontein solar photovoltaic plants will together add 100 MW of renewable energy to South Africa's national grid.
