A bold new arts festival modelled on the world’s most popular fringe festivals will
be held in Cape Town in September, Tony Lankester, the chief executive
of the National Arts Festival, announced on Tuesday. A spin-off of the South Africa’s
premier festival, it will be run in partnership with the City of Cape Town.
