Showcase of Singaporean talent in London

The name ‘1 of nine’ refers to the probability that one out of nine women may suffer from breast cancer during their lives. It also refers to the participants of this event, which include nine pairs of nine musicians and nine artists/ designers coming together for one cause.

The organisers, ‘Creative [SIN]ergy’ work to provide a platform in the United Kingdom to foster interaction and collaboration amongst its members and aims to be a representative body for the creative industries amongst both the Singaporean professional and student community in the UK.

The event promises to offer an afternoon of music and art. This event will be held at Toynbee Hall in the East End on 10th October 2009 during breast cancer awareness month.

‘One of nine’ is a charity fundraiser in aid of Breast Cancer Care, a registered UK charity.
