US President Barack Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron on Tuesday had the latest of their regular conversations about the war in Afghanistan and the Middle East, the White House said.

The two leaders, who met in Washington in July, also talked about counter-terrorism and Pakistan flood relief efforts, the White House said in a short statement.

Obama also again congratulated Cameron and his wife Samantha on the birth of their daughter Florence Rose Endellion last month, the statement said.
