They may be outnumbered and outgunned, but the rebels fighting to oust Colonel Gaddafi have one thing that cannot be matched by the loyalist troops - an unquenchable spirit, borne of an anger that has simmered for much of the 41 years of his rule. Having initially been beaten back by the heavy artillery of Col Gaddafi's forces as they fought for the key port of Ras Lanouf on Friday, John Simpson joined them in the town of Brega as they prepared to go into battle once more.
