We are looking for a Windows 10 Imaging Engineer to

  • Be accountable for managing the Win-10 feature/version upgrade release cycle by Microsoft
  • Understand each feature of new WaaS and Win-10 OS build types
  • Solution the upgrade/implementation of annual Win-10 OS release, drive change control, manage issues and escalation, cross team coordination and milestone management
  • Take care of imaging of new WIN-10 version/feature release by Microsoft
  • Lead Windows 10 roll out via WaaS principles
  • Be responsible for the quality of all technical deliverables produced by the team
  • Provide technical support as requested, for internal and external customers
  • Document and remediate of Win-10 OS features
  • Create and edit Task Sequences as is necessary
  • Remediate group policies and OS features
  • Implement of OS Build / Task Sequences and it’s testing and remediate ensuring success of future patch upgrades
  • Manage regular/frequent Quality Updates released by Microsoft
  • Create and maintain GPOs for Windows 10
  • Provide L3 EUC support

Skills required

  • Extensive OS Imaging experience of new WIN-10 version/feature release by Microsoft
  • Experience in managing and implementation the WaaS model (end to end)
  • Key Knowledge of Windows 10 roll out via WaaS principles
  • Comfortable remaining "hands-on" to support the testing process
  • Experience in dealing with multiple projects and cross-functional teams and a proven track record of coordinating across teams in a large organizational environment
  • Experience in executing test scripts and reviewing results
  • Experience in analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability
  • Previous knowledge of project management and overall development lifecycle
  • Previous experience of managing both test initiatives/individuals and team
  • Experience in Agile and Scrum development methodology
  • Leading and Team Management Experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in IPU
  • Application and Windows patch management
  • Compatibility testing, Remediation and Packaging for Windows 10
  • Should have implemented WaaS (Win-10)
  • Proficient in Configuration Manager, SCCM 2012, 2016 R2, MS MDT
  • WaaS knowledge which includes knowledge of OS upgrades and overall patching via SCCM
  • Health monitoring and reporting knowledge
  • Security Clearance (SC) / eligibility is mandatory
  • Should be ready to work in shift and out of hours (based on project requirement)
  • Should be ready for on-call on rotational basis
