Transactional Finance Manager
Our client, an industry innovator in its specialist field, with a loyal and ever-expanding customer base and growing market share across the UK and Europe, is looking to hire a confident and credible Transactional Finance Manager. This is a pivotal role with responsibility for overseeing the financial management of the group across multiple sites and you must therefore, come from a multi-site background (retail/leisure/hospitality etc). Main duties include: * Supervising and developing 3 Finance Assistants to ensure AP and AR transactions are processed accurately and efficiently * Weekly end to end processing of supplier payment runs and other ad hoc payments for approval and keeping ledgers updated * Accounting for stock consignments, import duty and VAT * Building relationships with key payment platform providers * Closing ledgers and bank reconciliations * Maintaining fixed asset registers * Preparing key monthly balance sheet reconciliations * Supporting the annual audit with information requests * Collating data for VAT returns * Supporting Financial Controller with cash flow management and financial information and analysis Key skills & experience required: * Experience in a finance ops/transactional management role within a high volume environment * Strong communicator with a knack for building relationships internally and externally * Competency with Excel * Confident leader, capable of leading and mentoring others * Ability to work on own initiative and make informed, reasoned decisions under pressure * Self-starter, able to prioritise with a flexible approach * Strong attention to detail This is a fantastic opportunity for a top calibre Transactional Finance Manager to join a dynamic and growing organisation that will provide plenty of scope to develop the role further as the business and team continues to expand.
