Towns Fund Programme Manager Starting salary up to £40,000 per annum Initial 2-year fixed term contract with the potential to extend up to 4 years. Based at King’s Court Council Offices, King’s Lynn We need you to join our Regeneration team to revitalise King’s Lynn, one of the finest historic towns in the East of England, for its future and boost the local economy as part of our ambitious plans set out in our Town Investment Plan. You will manage the development and implementation of the £25m Town Deal programme, with the aim to drive the economic regeneration of King’s Lynn. Through this programme you will deliver long term economic and productivity growth through urban regeneration, planning and land use, skills and enterprise infrastructure and improved connectivity. Working with the King’s Lynn Town Deal Board, partners from the private, public and voluntary sector and local community and stakeholders, you will manage the successful development and delivery of a wide range or projects, undertake a comprehensive stakeholder engagement programme and successfully lead the town deal process as set out by government. You will have a genuine interest and passion for working with individuals and communities to improve the economic, social and environmental circumstances in which they live. Educated to degree level, you will be able to demonstrate excellent project management skills, with experience of delivering complex regeneration programmes that include diverse projects while maintaining a focus on delivery and quality. You must be able to effectively manage your own workload as well as be an active and supportive team member in a demanding role that operates across council departments and within a multi-agency context and deadline driven environment. You will also be able to establish, maintain and develop professional and effective working relationships with a wide range of partners, statutory agencies and stakeholders.
