The role: We are looking for a Technical Web Analyst to join our team.

This role exists to ensure that our development teams and non-development teams work efficiently together.

You will challenge and drive teams to find solutions to problems and you’ll essentially bridge the gap between those teams to ensure our business is best in class, customer centric and revenue driven.

Key responsibilities

  • Setting up and supporting others in using new features within our Marketing technology stack, as well as our QA Testers
  • Support with setting up CRM journeys to use events and data within our Customer Data Platform (CDP) as well as with omni-channel use
  • Manage, update and maintain tracking documentation
  • Maintain and improve server-side tracking and help configure tracking in our smartphone apps
  • Support with briefs to data team on back-end tracking
  • Improve the performance of Google Tag Manager (GTM) Key skills:
  • Understand Web development (HTML, CSS, JS) Servers and how data is transferred and Databases
  • Knowledge of 1 or more of: SaaS, CDP, APIs, marketing automation, direct marketing, data warehouse, BI, ETL, marketing analytics or programming
  • Basic concepts of machine learning and AI
  • Data capture tools like GTM
  • Broad marketing experience
  • Google Analytics IQ (or equivalent in another analytics tool)
  • Web development and Database development, architecture, or similar qualification (SQL, MySQL, or other languages) About you:
  • Must be empathetic
  • Must have broad experience in marketing, enough to understand and empathise with the marketing teams to help them get the best from the technical tools available
  • Must have a passion for problem solving
  • Broad technical experience
  • Must be comfortable presenting technical concepts to either a very non-technical audience
  • Must have a high level of intellectual curiosity
