We're working in partnership with our client to recruit for a Technical Sales Advisor. This role will be based at our client's office in Kendal and is a full time permanent role. It's a great opportunity to join our client's team. Our client are a well established, unique and innovative company who offer a full range of technical products, systems and services to their clients. You will be working in a small, busy experienced team whose product knowledge is highly valued by their clients. As well as proactively maintaining regular contact with customers to maximise sales opportunities, you will:- Make regular contact with allocated accounts with the aim of generating regular ordersIntroducing new products and keeping customer information up to dateDevelop new business by contacting prospective customersIssue and follow up on quotationsNegotiate sales through to conclusionLiaise with external sales teamConfirm and update customer information on database system following calls with customersContinue professional development in technical product knowledgeOther duties as requiredThe ideal candidate will have strong literacy and numeracy skills, the ability to use MS Office and knowledge of SAGE would be advantageous. They will have high levels of accuracy in their work ideally have knowledge of working with a contacts database. Previous Sales experience would also be ideal but this is not essential. They will also be a confident communicator with the ability to negotiate and influence. All successful candidates will receive a full induction and training.
