Dimensions is proud to be one of very few social care organisations that are members of the Great Places To Work programme 2019.

Start your day knowing you’ll make a difference – we are looking for a female to join our team of Support Workers in Cippenham and create a positive difference that improves life for the people we support.

We are looking for someone who is energetic, motivated and responsible to join our team of Support Workers, supporting adults with learning and physical disabilities across 2 small community home for 5-6 people within the Slough area.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain accredited training and experience within Health and Social Care that can fit around other study, life or work commitments.

You would work as part of a team supporting people with wide ranging individual support needs. Each day can be varied, fulfilling and afford the opportunity to match your skills and interests with those of the people you will be supporting!

The role will involve personal care, domestic duties, medication administration, financial support, supporting people to get out and about in the community on day trips and take part in local activities such as cinema, bowling, meals out and shopping and other events. Some of our ladies are wheelchair users so the work will involve manual handling and hoisting.

A driver is preferred but not essential to the role.

As with most Health and Social Care roles it will involve shift work, either: early, late, sleep-ins, waking nights, week days, weekends or bank holidays.

"Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010."
