Sports Teacher – Part Time FTC
Job role: We are looking for a Sport Teacher to support delivery across our BTEC sport provision to our motivated and passionate FE students that have a real desire to become successful within their chosen subject.

You will be responsible for the delivery and development of their curriculum, ensuring that students have an excellent experience throughout all stages of their learner journey and career pathway.
Formal teaching in the role won’t be needed until September 2021, however we are keen to bring candidates on board before this to really get them settled and feeling prepared prior to the new school year.
This is a part time position working 22.2 hours per week (0.6 FTE) and fixed term until July 2022, based at our Oxford campus.
What do you need to be successful in this role? You will have an engaging, motivating and innovative approach to supporting learners to enable them to achieve their potential.
Successful candidates will have a degree or above qualification in Sport or related subject area, with experience of sports coaching or working in the sports/fitness industry being preferred.
Whilst we would prefer applications from qualified teachers who hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, we would consider applications from unqualified applicants, with the ability to inspire our learners and a willingness to complete a teaching qualification.
Unqualified candidates would start at a lower salary point and this could be discussed at interview, if successfully shortlisted.
In addition, you will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
You will have an open mindset and attitude towards technology and virtual learning tools.
Along with current Maths and English skills, you will also demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and role model the attributes that we develop within our learners.
