Location: Office location is Manchester – happy to be flexible with with remote and office based.

Package: £50,000 depending on experience plus benefits including life assurance 2 x salary, BUPA Health Cash plan, Tastecard membership, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays plus birthday off rising to 25 days, company bonus, holiday buy back scheme.

The Role

This is integral role to join an ambitious business who are one of the fastest-growing, digital transformation companies in the north of England. As the Sharepoint Architect you will be working on projects to develop customised SharePoint-based technology solutions for a variety of clients and industries. This is a customer facing and dynamic role that requires the ability to commercially propose projects based on the articulated advantages and abilities of the Microsoft Productivity stack of applications in achieving identified business goals. You’ll join a high performing Delivery Team who share a common goal in driving the adoption of M365 cloud technologies.

You will be responsible for ensuring solutions architectures are highly effective in addressing business requirements. You will require strong business analysis and technical/information architecture skills to develop and implement a variety of SharePoint / SharePoint Online centric solutions.

Sharepoint Architect role requirements

• Solid experience designing SharePoint 2010-2019 /Office 365 solutions and technical architectures for on-premise, cloud and hybrid deployments
• Experience with creation and modification of master/layout pages, web parts and other components
• Solid knowledge of SharePoint Services, SharePoint Object Model, WorkFlow, Info Path, Form Services, KPIs, BDC, Records Management, PBI, Enterprise Search, Excel Services, SharePoint security model, and Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and above
• Ability to develop custom applications, workflows, user interfaces, etc
• Experience building high quality enterprise level applications utilising technologies across all tiers (GUI, application, service, business domain, persistence, and integration)
• Strong understanding of supporting SharePoint technologies including: Windows Server, SQL Server, .NET Framework, IIS, Clustering, NLB, Storage Capabilities, ISA Server, and SQL Reporting
• Strong familiarity with third party products available when building SharePoint solutions
• Experience in a customer facing technical role
