We are currently looking for Service Manager to work within the Young Parent Service. For one of the biggest Charities within London. What will your responsibilities be? • Managing a team of five staff including – 4 Supported Housing Officers and one Night Supported housing. • Covering across 3 sites. Scheme capacity 30 Young people. • Prepare and provide high quality professional reports for internal and external stakeholders as part of an ongoing schedule of requirements, and specific reports when requested, in a timely manner • Ensuring that all young people and families are safeguarded against exploitation whilst ensuring that services are compliant with relevant data confidentiality legislation. • Ensure that premises are maintained to a high standard and meet all legal and statutory requirements to operate safely, effectively and efficiently. • To carry out any other reasonable requests by management, consistent with the nature and grade of the role. To lead and manage a mixed team of staff who work with vulnerable young people, ensuring that they are of outstanding enduring quality. Be part of a management team that creates outcome-focused services that are responsive to young people and commissioners. Manage services to ensure they consistently reflect best practice, are financially viable and offer outstanding value for money. To Lead a team with a strong understanding of the developmental needs of children, the challenges of parenting and the impact of disadvantage and marginalisation on families and vulnerable adults. Whilst creating a safer and more stimulating environment. To ensure that performance targets meet and exceed contractual requirements. Ensure that all clients and other related data are recorded accurately and that QAF and other reporting requirements are met in a timely and planned manner.To develop and maintain positive professional relationships with all local stakeholders including commissioners, providers, health professionals, local community groups, young people and families. What are we looking for? • A candidate that has worked within the Sector. • Previously worked for a Council, Housing Association, or a Charity. • Previously worked with Young Families • Worked within a Hostel. • Management experience • Transferrable skills from previous roles.
