They are now looking for an experienced senior care worker to join their 4 bed service in Pwllheli. Your new role You will be supporting young people from a CSE background, who sometimes display behaviours that challenge. Your role includes but is not limited to the below:

• Support the care team to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people
• Undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate. To work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people
• Offer supervision and support to carers in line with quality standards & regulations and as directed by the registered manager. To promote MDT approach and engage/lead weekly MDT meetings with clinical and education services on site.
• Assist the deputy manager and manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the statement of purpose and uphold the organisations mission statement and values.

The role will involve working on a rota which will include a mixture of shifts as well as sleep ins. Sleep ins paid at £40 per sleep. What you’ll need to succeed

  • Level 3 in Residential Child Care. (Required)
  • Minimum of 1 year’s relevant supervisory experience. (Required)
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a residential setting with young people with challenging behaviour. (Required)
  • Hold a valid Driving licence (Required
  • Minimum age requirement of 21 years of age (Required)
  • Level 4 in Residential Child Care (Desired)
