Senior HR Manager – Retail Business
Our client is an ambitious group multiband Retail business based in Central London, currently with over 80 stores UK wide and a strong E commerce division they are headed up by a visionary CEO who plans further growth and as such is an exciting time to join their business.
Due to this growth, they are looking to recruit a driven Senior HR Manager who is looking to join a growth business and ideally has worked in a growth business in the past.
A full-time role, with Hybrid/flexi working and paying up to £75,000
Act as the face of HR for the company
Implement the HR strategy for the organisation working alongside business leaders and the Group HR team – be able to lead the local business agenda while aligning with the Group
Key Business Partner to the Senior Management Team:
Coach and trusted confident to key stakeholders in the business
Work closely with senior management to give expert guidance on a variety of HR matters
Working with senior managers, coaching them and advising on all people issues
Responsible for day-to-day management of HR in the organisation
Oversee and consult on all occupational health referrals and providing pastoral support and advice to employees
Provide day to day advice to line managers on all human resource issues: i.e. management of staff, staff structures etc.
Leading and managing HR related projects
Overseeing Employment issues in UK, Germany & Eire and devising a proactive strategy to minimise employment litigation risks
Accountable for the successful delivery of any large-scale restructures working with key stakeholders to ensure effective design and implementation, working in collaboration with the Group Employee Relations Department.
Lead HR team on any ad hoc business acquisitions or new business developments
Advise on compliance and risk management issues
Oversee complex HR issues including grievances, redundancies, dismissals and any litigation
Line managing and developing HR team and ensuring that all documents Including employment contracts) and correspondence issued by the HR department are legally compliant, accurate and of a consistently high standard
Develop, implement and input across all existing and up-coming policies and procedures ensuring they are up to date, legally compliant and in line with Group policies.
Responsible for Employee Relations activity and environment to ensure business risk is mitigated and employee issues are dealt with in a timely manner
Remuneration, Payroll and Systems
Review all staff salaries, including any reviews and adjustments, in collaboration with the group Remuneration department and in line with Group policies.
Overall responsibility for payroll and compliance with relevant Tax and Employment legislation, working in collaboration with the group Employee benefits and Payroll Departments.
Performance management (all levels).
Ensure that the performance appraisal process is adhered too and that standards are consistent across the company
Recruitment, Succession and Talent Management
Co-ordinate recruitment throughout the company
Build relationships with recruiters, draft briefs, set up interviews where necessary
Establish sound succession plans for management in line with the strategy and objectives of the Group
Identify and develop talent
Induction of new recruits
Human Resource Development/Learning and Development
Measuring employee satisfaction and identifying strategies to support improvement
Conduct training needs analysis and designs and implement a training plan with input from business heads
Manage costs to budget
Establishing and implementing an HR offering that effectively communicates and supports the Company's and Group's Business Philosophy, Values and Vision
Build the change capability of key stakeholders
