A leading private clinic based in Bristol are looking to recruit a 'Senior Fertility Nurse'. You MUST have previous 'Fertility' Nurse based experience. The role is paying £50K and is on a permanent, full time contract. The role incorporates the following – • Possess a working knowledge of their patient’s drug regimes and treatment plans. • Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care needs of individual patients undergoing treatments in their care. • To provide information to all patients prior to treatment and through ongoing care in order to aid informed consent. To ensure access to a Fertility Counsellor as required. • To perform ultrasound scanning of all fertility patients including diagnostic scans and administration of drugs relevant to patient’s treatment (in line with current NMC guidelines), teaching patients to self-administer where relevant and appropriate. • Assist in clinical procedures such as Oocyte retrievals, Embryo transfers, IUI, Hycosy, Endometrial scratch/biopsy • Provide Phlebotomy services for collection of specimens, labelling and despatching to the outside laboratory as per current Clinic SOPs. • To store and dispense drugs in accordance with the regulations.
