We are currently recruiting a Senior Category Marketing Manager to come on board our Walsall or Leeds based team. This role will be remote, however there will be a requirement for you to travel in to either office.This role has overall responsibility for the creation & delivery of the annual marketing plans to achieve the new boiler installation goal and the policy conversion target associated with Repairs. Achieving these within budget and whilst achieving the annual People satisfaction score. Ensuring all activity is well planned and based on customer insight.You will be technically competent Marketing Manager with proven experience in PPC, SEO, prospect marketing and setting campaign strategies as well as seeing them to fruition.You will be in a commutable distance from Leeds as this role is based in the office several times per week,Salary is £40,000 + £5,500 cash/car allowance, 10% bonus and up to 6% matched pensionMore about the role;Input and build the optimal marketing and activity plan (either acquisition, cross sell or retention) to achieve the annual Installations budgetDirect responsibility for the PPC, SEO, Retargeting and Aggregator channelsUse prior performance, analysis and insight/ to build Customer led, cross channel (Direct and/ or Digital) plans – supported by promotions, campaigns and contact strategies to deliver commercial objectivesProduce world class, insight led briefs to the Marketing Communications on commercial objectives and campaign requirements. Ensure that creative executions meet brief requirementsDefine test & learn (champion/challenger) based activity to continually protect and improve marketing response rates – working across new propositions, pricing, data and contact strategies – ensure learning is embedded in future activity Produce presentations, lead meetings and support Senior, Head of and Directors with marketing strategy developmentOwn relationships/ be the marketing interface with wider business stakeholders – including Product, Pricing and Partnerships/ PartnersWork with and influence internal stakeholders, including Marketing Propositions; Insight, Planning & Analysis; Marketing Communications, Compliance and Customer Sales & Service to ensure activity is well planned, well thought through and executedLead projects to improve a key process, launch a new initiative or improve a customer journeyFor your area of responsibility know the performance inside out and understand the drivers to improving metrics – working closely with Insight, Planning & Analysis team to lead inputs to forecast and annual budgetUnderstand which levers improve response, CPA and Pay back; price, segmentation, seasonality etc. Ensure activity adheres to HomeServe Membership’s financial requirements and enable us to grow value across all customer segments – whilst being in line with our low regulatory risk appetite and in line with industry good practiceBe comfortable with applying legislative requirements (FCA, DPA) as well as adhering to relevant codes of practice and ASA requirements.Ensure activities follow all required approval processes – including commercial approvals and submissions into Sales and Marketing CommitteeEnsure all marketing activity aligns to a customer needAbout the person;To be successful in this role you will need to have the following knowledge, skills and attributes:Essential:Thorough knowledge of best practice marketing, strong marketing planning, stakeholder management, presentation and communication skills. Highly numerate, comfortable with spreadsheets, calculations and ROI modelling. Thorough knowledge and experience of managing digital channels including PPC, SEO and AggregatorsExperience of marketing strategy development. Experience of developing direct and digital marketing activity. Excellent written & verbal communication, and influencing & negotiation skillsEvidence of strong Customer first focus i.e. creating & driving Customer value or delivering Customer-focused sales/service propositions & experiencesAbility to work under pressure and as part of a team.Desirable:Experience of marketing in a Financial Services company. IDM/CIM/Professional DiplomaExpert knowledge of campaign and product economics. Detailed up to date knowledge of all legislation relating to financial promotions and codes of practice (ICOBS 3 – Insurance Code of Business Sourcebook 3 [Distance Marketing])Knowledge and working understanding of the key digital acquisition channels including PPC, SEO, Aggregators, cash back, email and Display and the ability to optimise and grow our reach, presence, traffic and sales volumePeople management or supervision experience
