The Client Our client is a law firm looking for a senior business development and marketing executive for their Liverpool office. • International law firm with multiple offices throughout Europe and Asia • Over 800 staff across multiple offices • Winner of multiple awards • Happy to consider flexible working opportunities to help balance your work and home life The Role • You will be part of the BD & M team reporting directly to the head of BD & M with working hours of 9am-5pm Monday-Friday. Some of the key responsibilities include: • Develop and maintain HBG marketing and BD plans through establishing requirements and priorities with key HBG contact points. • Co-ordinate and project manage HBG activity such as events, campaigns and bid support, liaising with fee earners as appropriate. Facilitate the execution of plans through communicating with and effectively delegating activity to the wider BD&M team. • Provide structure and allow visibility across the HBG on activity planned/delivered enabling a joined-up approach across teams. • Report on progress against plans, communicating effectively and regularly with key stakeholders to manage expectations and gain input as appropriate to ensure progress. • Support client development through driving and supporting the implementation of the CRM system, Dynamics, into the HBG through a planned and co-ordinated approach that ensures buy in from partners and success against defined KPIs. • Work with HBG fee earners to cleanse and maintain client and non-client data, facilitating the process between HBG and BD&M. Ensure mailing lists are up to date and preferences are accurately aligned to contacts, maximising results from direct marketing activity. • Ensure website and other HBG collateral are up to date and fit for purpose. • Build relationships with external bodies such as conference organisers. • Support strategic sponsorships and initiatives with third parties, ensuring activities meet objectives and produce an acceptable ROI. • Co-ordinate directory submissions and awards • Manage HBG budget process. • Line management of BD&M assistant • Representation of Health on cross BG marketing and BD initiatives. The Candidate • Excellent organisational skills and project management experience • Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively. • Effective marketing planning and reporting skills • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills plus and ability to influence at all levels. • Attention to detail. • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines. • Proactive and can-do attitude and approach • Flexibility in approach and a willingness to work outside normal office hours, if required.
