The Public Sector is changing rapidly. With the huge investment made by HM Government in Digital Transformation – digital initiatives incorporating AI, ML, Advanced Analytics, Data Management and Cloud / Public Cloud solutions are at the centre of efforts to achieve fundamental and permanent change. From support for digital innovation in areas such as customer services to addressing major challenges such as fraud and error, our client is looking to apply advanced data-analytical solutions pervasively in their bid to achieve key business objectives and core outcomes for UK citizens. With the support of the world leader in AI and Advanced Analytics, you will become a trusted advisor to our client, understanding their challenges and helping them on their journey to become a truly advanced digital organisation. In your engagement with this client, you will have no shortage of opportunities to engage with them and you will be supported all the way by an experienced and functionally diverse team including: technical customer advisory, consulting and education, customer loyalty, data-science and commercial and legal teams. Moreover, given the strategic importance of this client to our business here in the UK, you will work closely with our senior leadership team in delivering peerless outcomes for this very important client. You will:Strive to develop a deep understanding of this customer, their strategies and their business goals with a view to become a knowledgeable and trusted advisorConsult with your client to identify relevant opportunities to advance their progress towards key outcomesWork closely with the client to develop a clear business case for the work we are doing together incorporating robust business value statementsDevelop a three-year account strategy and plan in collaboration with your extended SAS team and with key client stakeholdersWork closely with pre-sales and cloud specialist resources to support your customers on-going migration to the cloudMaintain existing annual recurring revenues and develop new revenue opportunities across software, consulting, services, cloud and education offerings to deliver strong year on year revenue growthContribute to UK Public Sector go-to-market strategy using your sector and client knowledge and experienceWhat we’re looking forFive year plus understanding of the UK Public Sector gained in an enterprise IT solutions roleTrack record of serial success in your role – achieving budgets and securing strong year on year growthComfortable in dealing with very large, multi-year, services rich, enterprise software solutions sales with a multi-year, multi-million pound contract valuesStrong commercial awareness with the ability to build complex yet compelling commercial offerings for this customerAbility to engage both the business and technology communities across the client’s organisation up to CxO levelExperience of leading internal teams across marketing, sales, pre-sales, delivery and partner organisations to deliver a range of solutionsExperience of our core solution areas including data management, AI, ML, advanced analytics, analytical visualisation and CloudAbility to develop clear long-term account plans and strategies that inform and lead the wider SAS teams both to deliver value to our customer and to ensure your resources are used in the most efficient mannerOther knowledge, skills, and abilities neededHave strong communication skills – both written and verbal.Be willing and able to travel.Strong sales techniques.Understand buying influences and cycles of software and hardware.Work well on your own and as part of a team.Accurately evaluate a territory and develop a strong sales plan.Connect technical and business concepts to SAS’ products and customer needs.Why SASWe love living the #saslife and believe that happy, healthy people have a passion for life, and bring that energy to work.
