The team of 7 that you are taking on are established and extremely knowledgeable; they now need a new leader, someone who can take them to the next level in their new purpose built facility!

Your day begins with an accountability meeting, engaging your team to find out what needs to be done and allocating the activities.

You will have the mindset of someone who will always finds a way to get something done, you won’t let things stand in your way when a problem needs to be solved!

A busy FMCG environment is where you will feel at home, goalposts constantly moving, you will need to be both proactive and reactive to deal with what each day has to throw at you.

Having worked in manufacturing you will understand that this department is the hub, you will be constantly liaising with production, supply chain & logistics partners to ensure that your customer receives their order on time, and you will have an understanding of end to end manufacturing.

Your skills will lie in employee engagement, identifying strengths in your team, developing and nurturing talent, and one of your first jobs will be to increase the headcount by 2.

When it comes to data and report writing you won’t run away scared when I say the words “excel” the company currently run their planning schedule through excel (they won’t forever) so you need to be very much at home with manipulating and pulling data!

This is a fast paced, high energy department, you will need to manage that momentum and shield your team from distractions.

You will be responsible for maintaining the impeccable service standards that this company have for customer services!

For me to consider you for this role you need to have

  • At least 3 years’ experience of successfully managing a team
  • A background in B2B product sales
  • Sales & Customer Services experience
