Sales Executive – Scientific Equipment

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and expanding Life Science equipment provider. In this role, you will become the Product Specialist for a small range of high-tech instrumentation aimed at the Life Science/nuclear medicine sector. You will interact and, when safe to do so, visit a variety of laboratories spanning both private & public sectors and academia, forming business relationships with current & potential clients, identifying their current needs, providing technical support, producing quotes & securing sales. The role with ultimately (post COVID restrictions) consist of 3-4 days/week interacting with clients and remaining time spent in the office with the other Product Specialists. The team currently consists of 12 other Product Specialists and lead sharing is highly encouraged in this team orientated atmosphere. Responsibilities will include:- • Account Management – forming business relationships • Technical support • Identifying and securing new business • Attending Tradeshows / industry conferences when required • Organising your own communications & site visits • Maintaining up-to-date client records The ideal candidate will have:- • BSc in Life Sciences/chemistry/physics or related • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills • Good organisation and time management skills • Valid UK Drivers license • Previous sales/business development experience – not essential but advantageous • Motivated to succeed! The company offers full sales & product training with the ability to progress into the wider European and ultimately global markets.
