Sales Executive SALARY: £22,000 + Amazing Commission (£40,000 OTE) JOB DESCRIPTION The primary role of this position is to generate sales for our client. You will be expected to make a set number of calls per day prospecting for new customers, generating meetings and quote requests for the sales team. You will also be required to sell and promote our client’s partners solutions from the likes of Dell EMC, HPE, Aruba, VMware and Microsoft. Duties will include but are not restricted to the following: • Prospecting for new customers and sell products and services. • Answer questions about products and services or the company • Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales! • Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed. • Enter and update customer information in the CRM database. • Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales. • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information! • Up sell and cross sell products and services PERSONAL SPECIFICATION The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes, and experience: • 1-2 years knowledge of sales in the IT industry. Ideally selling managed services. • Experience of Dell EMC and HPE a bonus. • Team player • Knowledge of sales processes including importance of margin retention. • Highly motivated and able to work under his or her own initiative. • Ability to prioritise work-load and work methodically • Intelligent and keen to learn new skills • Ability to be able to work under pressure • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues • Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection • Desire to provide good customer service • Effective communicator HOURS OF WORK The company’s standard hours of work are 9.00am – 5.30 pm, Monday to Thursday, 9:00am – 5:00pm Friday, with one hour for lunch, you may be required to work longer hours during peak times.
