Our international client based in Chadderton (Oldham) requires an experienced Sales Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. 

The role will pay between £25,000 – £30,000 pa dependant on skills and experience.  

Training for the role will be 2-3 weeks and will be completed in Europe or Greater Manchester. All training expenses will be covered by the company. 

Hours of work – 08:00-16:30 Monday to Friday (with the chance to work from home once fully trained)

As a Sales Administrator, you will work in the Sales Administration & Forwarding department and be responsible for looking after your assigned international clientele.

You are the contact person for your clients for all administrative questions and for the procurement of their services. You will independently prepare quotations for spare parts (in alignment with HQ), enter incoming orders in the system, check and follow up delivery dates, prepare customs and shipping documents and handle invoicing. You will also maintain good contacts with the customers around the world and work closely with your internal customers, the sales, project planning, production and logistics departments.

Person Profile: –

– You have completed commercial training (preferably in export) and/or have experience in export

– You have a flair for technical products and several years of experience in sales administration and foreign trade. Advantageously, you have already worked for several years in a technical-industrial company. Other language skills such as French / German / Italian or Spanish would be a further advantage.

– You like to work in a team and enjoy technical products

– You have good IT and PC user skills (WINDOWS, WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK, INTERNET) as well as knowledge of an ERP system (e.g. ORACLE, SAP, BAAN, etc.).

– You enjoy working with customers and are quick to recognise customer needs
