We are looking to appoint a keen and enthusiastic Reservations Manager to process group booking inquiries, liaise with guests and Tour Operators while trying to maximise revenue.

Responsibilities Take telephone, email enquiries and process reservations for groups of 8 or more including accommodation, golf, dining, and transport.

Build up relationships with return guests and groups ensuring an invaluable rapport.

Keep up to date and liaise with marketing on all new promotions.

Create new packages on Opera, liaise with Oracle and Smart Hotels (channel managers) to ensure all packages and rate codes are mapped out accordingly.

Liaise with Oracle and Smart Hotels to troubleshoot and remedy any technical issues with current rate codes and packages.

Liaise with all departments to ensure the smooth running of group stays and events.

Process advance reservation deposits and also group deposits.

Observe booking pace and marketing source.

Compile marketing stats and reports for weekly managers’ meetings and fortnightly conference call including the weekly booking report.

Attend weekly managers meeting to update management on upcoming groups/events.

Ensure that all reception staff is working within company standards and complete daily tasks.

Meet with potential residence owners, advising them on ownership and showing them around the cottages and resort.

Providing holiday/sickness cover in reception as required and assisting reception staff with any queries regarding bookings, payments.

Training new receptionists on reception duties and using Opera.
