Requirements Management expert- remote working

LOCATION OF WORK: Fully remote working. You can be based anywhere in the UK or Europe. THE ROLE: A global electronics business who provide products into multiple industry sectors require a Requirements Management expert to join the business for an initial 12 month contract which is likely to extend. You will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and support of Requirements Management practices globally. As product developments become more complex, there is increasing customer demand to meet functionality, safety and efficiency targets. In order to achieve this, the management of requirements needs to be more robust as this will lead to higher quality products in shorter timescales. In this role you will be working with teams globally to improve the way the business manages specifications for cutting edge solutions, shaping the way products are created within a world class development process. In this role you will need strong organizational capability, a collaborative work style and deep understanding of business processes to develop requirements management methods to support product developments in the most effective fashion possible. Your main duties will include: • Leading the development and deployment of compliant requirement management processes in global cross-functional teams of Systems, Software, Hardware, Mechanical and Quality Engineers, Sales and project management teams • Capturing global stakeholder inputs on requirements management • Benchmarking requirement management tools and solutions • Monitoring key performance metrics and user satisfaction to deliver Requirement Management processes and systems that drive increased productivity, compliance and value • Creating effective documentation, training & support • Building relationships with business stakeholders SKILLS REQUIRED: • Experience of managing requirements from concept to production in product developments • Experience using continuous improvement or problem solving tools (e.g. lean, six sigma, A3) • Strong communication skills: • Experience implementing / administrating a requirements management solution e.g. DOORS, Jama etc. • Safety Critical industry experience e.g. Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Oil+Gas Please contact Chris Oddy or Andrew Knight at KO2 Embedded Recruitment Solutions Ltd to discuss this role in further detail.
