Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 per annum + competitive package

Location: Central London/WFH likely to be 2-3 days working from home (Applications for less may be considered)

HFG has partnered with an international insurer who is looking for a nearly or recently qualified actuary with protection and reporting experience.

The role is in a small risk team and is suited to a high-performing individual who would get C-suite exposure through this role.

This is a new role within the new shared service function they have created following the switch from branch to UK regulated entity.

Shortly after starting the role, there will be one person reporting to the role.

Role has potential for growth in seniority and responsibility which will then allow Chief Actuary to focus on 2nd line role. It is effectively a Head of Financial Reporting delivering the statutory and board requirements. Requires a nearly / recently qualified life actuary with a reporting background, ideally with experience of Solvency II or IFRS17 (their project is in progress but not as advanced as other life insurers) and Protection products.

– You must be eligible to work in the UK – these rules have changed recently so when applying please state your eligibility to work in the UK. (E.g. British passport, Irish passport, ILR, settled-status, etc.)

Desirable

  • – experience of Solvency II or IFRS17
