Relationship Manager, Museums and Engagement Salary: £32,615 plus excellent benefits Contract: Permanent, working 35 hours per week Location: Nottingham Office Arts Council England is looking for an enthusiastic advocate of culture and creativity based in Nottingham to fill the Relationship Manager, Museums and Engagement role. Based in our Nottingham office but will also involve working across the Midlands. However, at present, Arts Council staff are working from home because of Covid-19 restrictions. In this Relationship Manager, Museums and Engagement role, you will be part of an inclusive and highly skilled team in the Midlands, working closely with other Relationship Managers who work with a wide range of art forms and represent cross-cutting agendas. In this business relationship manager role, you will also contribute to Area cultural placemaking work. If you were currently doing this customer relationship manager job, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week: • Working within the Midlands area team as well as the national Museums and Cultural Property team • Contributing to the shaping and delivery of Arts Council strategy across the Midlands • Being a crucial part of the National Portfolio Organisations’ investment process assessment team • Managing a portfolio of funded organisations from across the Midlands • Advising on and assessing funding applications from individuals and organisations To apply, you will require previous Relationship Management experience and good knowledge and experience of working in or with museums. You will also need an ability to support the development of the museums' sector in the Midlands. Excellent communication skills are also essential, as is an ability to work well across the industry and within ACE across various teams.
