I have a new opportunity with great career progression I am looking for an experienced Registered Manager for a Children’s Services based in Sheffield. The home is EBD, catering to a maximum of x3 young people. This is a exciting new business which was established in 2020 and this is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and motivated leader, whether you are already an established Registered Manager within Children’s Services, or a Deputy Manager looking to further progress your career into a Registered Manager, I want to speak to you. My client is looking for dynamic staff member to join their family and support them in their new and exciting adventure and to change children’s lives for the better. You will be part of a dedicated team of staff, who are child-centred in their approach and values-led in their practice. You will work closely with external professionals, including social workers, teachers and healthcare professionals, to build a comprehensive programme of care for our children and ensure that they are happy, safe and stimulated. This is a permanent, employed position. Consisting of 40 per week Monday-Friday.No sleep-in’s as standardFlexible but full-time hours Do you have what it takes to encourage and help children to live independently and guide and teach them with your own life experiences? To do this I believe you will need empathy, compassion, resilience and positive parenting skills.The skills we expect our management staff to have:Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People (or equivalent)Preferable Level 5 in leadership & management or be willing to work on obtaining Level 5 in Leadership & ManagementFull UK Driving LicenseMinimum of x3 years’ experience working within a children’s residential settingMinimum of x1 years’ experience working in a leadership/management role within children’s residential· A flexible approach to working· A Passion for working with children· A Good Team Player· Excellent Communication Skills· Hardworking· Resilience· Honesty Specific Attributes:Proven demonstration auditing, managing budgets and monitoring skillsEvidence of Regulation 44 and Regulation 45 reportingBe able to demonstrate how to develop a strong staff team aligning with set visions and goalsEvidence of working within a clear therapeutic frame-workStrong teamwork and communication skillsAbility to take own initiative and lead by exampleExperience with managing Ofsted inspectionsIf you feel that this is the career path for you and you are interested in learning more please contact me for further details
