Having been a tech and people focused business for a long time now, it was an easy transition to home working when Covid hit. What Covid has done though is create some unexpected challenges, and opportunities, in how to recruit and onboard new employees. With hiring expected to continue increasing over the coming months, and with new projects occupying some of the existing teams time, we are in need of an extra resource to ensure the continued effective delivery of new starters into the business. You’ll need to be a competent sourcer of talent – using job boards, social media and networking – as well as be comfortable coordinating the entire recruitment process and playing your part in screening prospective employees. You’ll need to be a true people person; taking pride in providing a positive candidate experience, but also matching candidates based on fit for the business and its values, as well as experience. You’ll have experience of recruiting head office, product or tech roles. Given it’s a home working role, you’ll need to be comfortable working with autonomy and independence and be a confident communicator with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
